She goes on to tell me that there are “so many mothers having five and six babies but can’t take care of them.” She says that she’s tired of taking care of other peoples’ children. I argued the point (LIKE ALWAYS). Whether it’s WIC, food stamps, assisted living, or other governmental funds, I believe that almost all mothers have received some type of assistance when it comes to raise children. (NOTICE: I DIDN’T SAY ALL BUT LET’S BE REAL! IN SOME FORM OR FASHION THEY HAVE RECEIVED MONEY FOR THE CHILDREN).
I totally agree that some people need to know when to stop having children but is that our right to determine that ending point? Do you feel that the United States should restrict child birth to a certain number?
At this moment I’m not sure what I think about this but I do know that whenever the government starts getting involved, you might not like the outcome. What’s your opinion on this topic?
